This recent article from The New York Times delves into the harrowing issue of early-stage dementia and the limited knowledge that most physicians possess to help families address it. Fortunuately, the medical community is slowly beginning to realize that getting involved in this issue early on in the illness can prevent financial exploitation; however, here at Legacy Law Center, our Life Care Planning and Probate services directly work toward helping families on eliminating the "financial predator" issue that often accompanies early-state dementia or Alzheimer's Disease.
